TrueCar Kicks Off "Women Empowered" Racing Initiative at Sebring and St ...

Shannon McIntosh (Pabst Racing/USF2000 Series) and Emilee Tominovich (CJ Wilson Racing/Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup Series) kick off the season at Sebring, while TrueCar Racing teammates Katherine Legge (Jay Penske/Dragon Racing, INDYCAR Series), Shea Holbrook (Compass 360 Racing/Pirelli World Challenge Series), and Ashley Freiberg (JDC Motorsports/Star Mazda Series) take their place behind the wheel for their first race at St. Petersburg. Fans will be offered an exclusive opportunity to meet all six TrueCar Racing team members on stage and for autographs, including Verena Mei (Team O'Neil/Rally America Series), at the INDYCAR Fan Village on March 24, 2012, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

As previously announced, the TrueCar Racing 'Women Empowered' initiative is an extension of the company's efforts to get more women in the driver's seat, both on and off the racetrack.

Through this effort, TrueCar is providing full-sponsorship support, professional coaching, and top racing team opportunities for the next generation of talented, high-potential female race car drivers in the U.S.

Vintage McIntosh MX 110 Tube Stereo Premplifier/Tuner 60 w Up for auction is a 1964 vintage McIntosh MX 110 Stereo FM Multiplex tuner. You can see more photos of it in this slide show. http://www.flickr.com/photos/30665738@N08/sets/72157626622550597/show/ Although I was only 12 years old at the time, I remember when my parents brought this unit home from Audio Crafters in Cleveland, Ohio to add to the other Hi Fi, as my dad called them, components that they had. After my parents passing, this is one of their treasures that I received. Around 10 years ago I had the entire system gone through by a professional and everything that needed attention was either replaced or rebuilt. It has been used regularly and it is in good working order. There is some light corrosion on the chrome plated chassis. All face panel lights work. Glass face plate was replaced at that time so number decals are all nice. This unit has the optional Pan Loc System. This is an interesting system that comes with it's own heavy duty bracket to mount the unit in a cabinet. There are two buttons on the face of the unit that you push and the spring loaded Pan Loc System releases it out of its mounting bracket. It comes with all necessary mounting hardware. This is a very secure system to mount this tuner into a cabinet. Very unique manufacturer's option! Hook it up to your amp with a good FM antenna and you are ready to rock. It is structurally 100% sound, without cracks, chips, dents, etc. All tubes are present and working to the best of my knowledge. Power cord fully intact with no cracking. Plug is completely straight. All knobs and switches and tuner dial are mechanically smooth and free. None have been tested electronically, I just know it works. Very good condition for a 47 year old piece of history.
